Halloween, the fall holiday celebrated each year on October 31st. A day with historical connotations of ghosts, spirits of the dead and pagan traditions of the dark underworld.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (I Cor. 2:12)

It’s refreshing to know that the spirit which is of God is alive and well as activities such as harvest parties, trunk or treat nights and Light the Night are alternatives that also share the light of Christ. We even have a friend that places gospel tracts in a baggie with some candy.

It was a pleasure, as well, to serve at “Light the Night” at Calvary Assembly of God where over 1000 people attended, 300 bibles were distributed and we were able to share the love of Jesus with many and to pray individually with several souls. What liberty it is to share the things that are freely given to us of God!

The spirit which is of God is alive and well as we participated in “A Night of Music” at The Friends Creek Church of God, singing, worshipping and praising our Savior. Also we were able to attend the Courage men’s conference with over 1400 men worshipping God, and a CBMC business meeting packed with prominent local Christian businessmen and women.

We were happy also to minister with the local migrant workers again this year and distribute 140 hygiene care bags and to fellowship, sing, and share the word of God weekly. Please pray for them as they head back home.

Please continue to pray, as well, for us as we prepare to minister in central and eastern Ontario. Pray for our scheduled appointments and for divine openings and opportunities as we expand into some new territories.

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to each one who donated supplies and financial support to collect a full van load of feminine care products, dishcloths, lotions, shampoo, soap and cases of baby wipes and diapers and diaper bags (special need request) to deliver to Ontario. What a blessing to witness God meet a need that will be accompanied by the gospel of Christ to also meet spiritual needs.

We are scheduled to minister at The Wilberforce Full Gospel Church and have an appointment with The Bancroft Pregnancy Ministry Center. Plans also include 2 Christian camps and several other churches, please pray for additional contacts as we explore some new areas.

“House of Hope”, a recovery center for women in Chambersburg will be opening soon. We are excited to be envolved with this new ministry and get in on the ground floor to help those in need as the Gospel of Christ is shared.

Lydia’s Grace is an approved subsidiary of Keystone World Outreach that focuses on sharing the love of Jesus to women in need through the distribution of feminine care products.

We give thanks for each of you, our prayer partners and partners in ministry; soldiers for Christ. Please pray for us as we pray for each of you as we take the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

In Christ,

Bitt & Sherry Miller
